Good to know
- The levy is 5% of the accommodation-only part of the price, net of VAT: breakfast, parking and other extras are not part of the base.
- Only the first 5 consecutive nights of a booking are charged. If the first five nights cost more or less than the average, the levy is 5% of what those five nights actually cost.
- Official worked example: a wholesaler room at £175 a night for 3 nights, £525, carries a levy of £26.25.
