Worked examples
Two adults, 3 nights from 15 October 2026, any accommodation (the levy is paid per person, per entry into bali):Rp 300,000.
- Rp 150,000 once per person, whatever the length of stay.
A family of two adults and two children aged 7 and 15, 12 nights, same accommodation:Rp 600,000.
- Rp 150,000 once per person, whatever the length of stay.
Exemptions
- The official site offers an exemption application; the categories are set by the provincial regulation. It does not list an exemption for children.
Good to know
- IDR 150,000 per foreign tourist, per entry into Bali, whatever the length of stay. It is paid online (Love Bali) or on arrival, not at the hotel.
- It is separate from the hotel and restaurant tax charged by the regencies, which is usually already in the room price.
